This practice offers therapy that is grounded in evidenced based practices. Aya is certified in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and utilizes a client centered approach in direct practice. In addition to EMDR, Aya incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Solution Focused approaches into her practice. Her ideal client is someone who is willing to collaborate on identifying goals and working together to achieve better balance.

With an extensive background in treating complex trauma, Aya works with adolescents and adults hoping to achieve relief from symptoms most often associated with post traumatic stress, anxiety, and depression.
